There have been so many amazing friendships, relationships, and lifetime memories that have been made through this community. Thank you to everyone who has been posting pictures of good times had at Hot Shots on social media. Hot Shots knows that the volleyball community is strong, and we cannot wait to see everyone again. We are following the advice of our financial advisors and expect to be able to open back up as soon as the government allows. We do not have plans to cancel any leagues, but rather to restart strong. We would like to reassure people at this point, that we plan to reopen & pick up where we left off. With the future being unknown and changing everyday with state and local news, we promise to update everyone who is registered in a current and future league, a clinic, or other program with Hot Shots as soon as we have answers and information.ĭue to the complexity of this evolving situation, we may not have definitive answers to your questions and concerns at this time but, are striving to get to that point. Our hope is that everyone understands that we are making these decisions, not only under the recommendation of several governing bodies, but because we feel it is in the best interest of everyone. We have a responsibility to all our patrons and staff members to keep everyone safe. This pandemic is something that is a serious concern for us all. I know this is a time of uncertainty and we are all not sure what to expect in the upcoming weeks. Hope this finds you safe and doing your best. We cannot wait to see everyone back to playing the sport they love with this great family that we have built at Hot Shots. We hope that everyone is continuing to stay safe. When our leagues and tournaments get closer to starting, we will post office hours where you may call with any questions or register over phone, email, or fax to limit contact and travel. We will notify everyone when we are actively taking registrations. If you are a preferred player or registered for a league that did not start due to the government shut down, we will be able to move your league registration to a summer league, or our leagues beginning in September.We will open registration as soon as possible. We are still planning on running our Charlotte Beach Leagues when we get the approval from Monroe County.Every team Captain will be contacted when Hot Shots reopens. As stated in an earlier post, when our leagues do begin again, we will be finishing all previously started leagues in their entirety.from local government, the Monroe County Parks Department, and when all additional safety regulations have been put in place to make sure every event is run safely. Our summer tournament series will be posted online when we get the o.k.All safety precautions will be made when the events get closer. At this time, Lollypalooza and Flower City 4’s will remain on the same dates.In addition, we want to make sure Harpoon Eddies, Sunset Cottages, and other surrounding businesses are open and have time to meet all safety regulations that will be put into place for all our tournament participants. We are doing this to give this event its best chance of running safely. Sylvan Beach June 6 th and 7th will be tentatively moved to August 8th and 9 th. Starting with our NOVA outdoor tournament series. All the following information is also pending on government and state official recommendations. With the summer right around the corner, we have updates for NOVA and Hot Shots. Updated league schedules will be provided at the end of next week provided no other disasters occur between now and then. So, if there are any questions regarding child’s training, please call their coach.Īll other questions can be answered during the day between 10am and 2 pm by calling Hot Shots 58 Parents and coaches will be asked to follow all CDC guidelines as in the past. This will NOT affect the Juniors Club Training that will take place during that week. This means that there will be NO Leagues, Court Reservations, or Tournaments through the 15th of January. We will not be open to the public for that week. This one-week break will allow both our customers and staff an opportunity to take a break and get healthy. Given the current Covid surge, Hot Shots Beach Volleyball will be pushing the “Pause” button through January 15th, 2022. Hot Shots will be open on Friday 1-7-22 and Volley Tots Saturday Morning
